Your Home For Israeli Culture
Israeli Artists Project promotes and presents Israeli music, theater and art. IAP (pronounced “yap”) is a community-oriented non-profit organization that provides a stage for local Israeli artists as well as as opportunities for Americans and Israelis to experience Israeli culture together beyond the lenses of politics and religion.
ISRAELI ARTISTS PROJECT has announced, in celebration of Women's History Month, the New York premiere production (after an extensive pandemic pause, initially scheduled in Spring of 2020) of award-winning Israeli playwright Anat Gov's BEST FRIENDS, the longest-running comedy in Israel and winner of the prestigious Israel National Theater Award for Best Comedy in 1999, directed by Hamutal Posklinsky-Shehory. “Israeli performing and visual arts and artists have so much to give to the world. We are proud to share their talent with audiences in North America.”
— Yoni Vendriger, Founder and Producing Artistic Director
It takes a kibbutz.
Israeli Artists Project is an organization created for and by the community. As a young, volunteer-driven organization with very limited resources, we have managed to produce dozens of shows, reaching thousands of audience members in our first year alone. 2023 marks a new beginning as we return to presenting Israeli theater, music and art with local Israeli artists.
We need your help to produce the Stav Festival, which costs a total of $100,000. We initially raised 20K and need your support to raise the rest. We hope to surpass our goal, as additional funding will be used for future productions already in the works!
Please consider a tax deductible donation on our CauseMatch crowd funding campaign. Any amount or other forms of donations and support are all welcome!
